Compute background map from background IRFs.

Parameters
pointingFixedPointingInfo or SkyCoord

Observation pointing

  • If a FixedPointingInfo is passed, FOV coordinates are properly computed.

  • If a SkyCoord is passed, FOV frame rotation is not taken into account.

ontimeQuantity
